My daughter’s dose of solucortef was 50mg from birth until 5 years old. Now it is 100mg. The good this is that too much can’t hurt her. We practiced giving it on an orange. You can print out instructions with pictures and keep them with your solucortef kits. We bought hard eyeglass cases and have kits with the meds, syringe, instructions, alcohol pad, and band aid in it. We have several of these prepared because when you are tired and worried it’s nice to have it all there and not have to think about it. But please don’t keep these in a car. They need to be kept at stable temperatures. We also carry with us at all times: cortef, thermometer, advil and tylenol. Be prepared and you won’t need to worry! Take care! and congratulations! It does get easier! My daughter is 6 2/3 and doing great! JuliaJulia S
