They never ran a test on the father to see if he was a carrier, nor did they ask any questions.  They just wanted me to take dexamethasone so that it would pass the placenta versus prednisone.  Had I known this, I never would have taken dexamethasone.  We are still to this day unsure if he is a carrier.
