Hey Liz,

You don’t have to be sorry ever : P

I am curious about our cortisones and like to learn.

I took pred for 33 years and never had any trouble like that BUT that doesn’t mean it may not happen. When I was a kid and sliced open my leg - there was bleeding and I apply pressure, cleaned it out and bandaged it with the stuff used to wrap horse wounds. I think also that it must depend on what ever circumstances- I’ve had gyno things done but only a little bleeding and then it stops or really I have no blood and kool- aid instead ; )

For the bruising? I would get that around above my ankles from banging into pans that were kept on low shelves at the resteraunt where I worked and also from the clothes carrier when I worked at a Department Store.

Again, I like to learn and never saw in any of the drug books that I’ve read about pred and clotting but that don’t mean a thang : ) thanks for the info. Drugs affect people different ways and understand when you wrote "as easy" I worked all the way through cancer treatment and I went to work with fluid bags still hanging off me after the Gall Bladder surgery. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking (knock on wood)

All the best,

Aimee
