my mother told me that it would cause an infection, she never let me have them.  when i got to be 18 and i thought i knew everything, i got my ears pierced.  i got a bad infection.  i tryed to were them off and on, i wanted to prove my mother wrong.  everytime i wore my earing i would get my infection again.  i grew up, and threw my earing away.  it didn’t work for me.
