I don’t have a child with SWCAH (just have LOCAH myself), but I’m on SSDI for other reasons, and I had to appeal twice even though it was a clear cut case. On the second appeal you get a judge, and my judge never even heard the case - he approved it just by looking at my file. If you need the help from SSI, follow through with the appeals.
