We are going through the same thing. My son was born on 11/12/06 and has CAH, we have never heard of it...no one on hubbies side and none on my side. We were admited to the hospital for vomiting, when we went to the emergency room the Dr. look at me stupid when I said my son threw up once and we were told to come here...he had to run and look up CAH @@

They took TONS of blood and his white blood cell count was high so they thought infection....we were admited 2 nights and come to find out it was because of the cortisol they injected to see if he had CAH, also it wasn’t puke...it was spit up from his milk. We thought they needed to give him meds, the only reason we took him...they just stuck him everywhere possible for a vein including his forhead that did not work by the way and then a spinal tap (now we know) but poor him :( He has never had any symptoms of CAH at all..the only way we can tell is the Dr. said so
