I know when I was a child my mother had tried to file and they denied it claiming that it was not common enough to be on SSI.  I have yet to try again to see if it’ll work, but I know that getting the right attorney could possibly help anyones case.  I have thought about trying again, but I have yet to do it.  Guess you could say that since my husband is in the military, I havent felt the need to need it.  :-)  Who knows, if I hear that your case worked, I may go out and try myself.  Hopefully the state of Kansas will give it to me lol.  Let me know if it does work out for you and I will be pulling for you that it does.
