My name is Liz and I have SWCAH and I live in Wichita, Kansas.   I totally agree with you Cassy on the trying to stay warm.  We just started getting into the 30’s and 40’s, and they are saying we’re going to get snow from the north!

On November 13, 2006, I gave birth to a baby girl.  We just recently did a genetics test to see if she also has SWCAH too.  So far she has been on hydrocorisone and florinef.  They believe that she may have SWCAH since her levels went up after they were trying to tapper her off the medication.

My whole entire life I have wanted to meet others who have my disease because growing up, I never had support from friends.  When I found this website I was 14 years old and started posting on the childrens board.  I met others and was totally in awe to the fact that there were others like me. ;-) I will agree that this board has been totally great and I am excited to have recently discovered the CARES foundation.  I am so excited about all these new things that I’m discovering about this disease that I never thought was possible.
