My name is Amy and I am the mother of Nancie Marie born 12-14-2006 and was diagnosed with SWCAH a week after her birth.  We live in Louisiana. The entire experience since her birth has been extremely hectic and stressful.  I had a bad experience with an endo and am in the process of changing doctors.  This board has taught me so much about CAH and different aspects of this disorder. I have noticed that the people on this board are very supportive and wonderful.  Thank you so much for all of the information.  It is amazing that this board gives me hope.  I have cried and cried and worried and worried about my little girl but this board and your stories give me HOPE that all is going to be alright and she can live a normal life.  I am also the mom to a healthy Non-CAH 2 1/2 year old boy named James.  He is so wonderful with his little sister and has been very good during our many hospital and doctor visits.  I’ve never in my life been to so many doctors visits in 6 weeks.  I’m ready to get back into my life again.  Thanks to your encouragement and support, I know that getting my life back is a possiblity and that CAH is not the worst thing in the world that could have happened.  I know that with God’s help my family and I will survive this and it will make us stronger.

Thank you so much for this board.  I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you on here.
