Hi, I’m Michele, a mom of 3, the first two with SWCAH, the youngest a carrier.  Our daughter was first, born in 1991, and what a scary time it was.  I didn’t find this board until around 1997 or 1998.  Those of you who have been here a while might remember me as "concerned mom".  I blasted this website routinely back then, warning people about the liquid cortef problems at that time.  Anyway, the kids are now 15, 13, and 11.  They are all doing so well, we are so blessed.  We’ve managed the various issues (mostly stomach bugs and physical injuries) well, with the help of our wonderful endocrinologist.  Our children are very active and lead normal lives.  For those of you staring out, it really can be a wonderful life for our children.  I’m happy to answer any questions and help out.  I check the board daily.  Best to all.
