I have to say, you have received some pretty wonderful advice!  It’s all about your little girl feeling good about who she is...if you manage that in the next couple of decades, you will be a hero!! 

I can remember another friend whose little 4 year old was all about girly things and fashion.  This was really funny because she had some definite ideas about what she wanted to wear...like plaids and stripes together, clashing colors etc.  I always thought it was wonderful that my friend would usually let her pick her own clothes out and tell her how wonderful she looked.  Her feeling, which I think is right, is that as long as she feels good about herself and has the confidence to experiement with how she wanted to look, she would find her way.

BTW, the ONLY doll I would ever play with as a kid was Little Miss No Name...now I’m a social worker!
