I recently did a genetics test for my daughter Ayrianna to see if she had CAH, and I waited and waited.  They previously had believed she had it because of all the labs that they had done were constantly going up in the highs, but I wanted to have a for sure confirmation from a genetics test.  Finally the doctor sent me a letter yesterday telling me that she does in fact have CAH.  I got in tomorrow to discuss the results with him and it is definitely a weight lifted off my shoulders.  She will be 3 months old on February 13th and we’re finally now finding out the results of whether or not my daughter does in fact share the same disease as me. 

 

I’m glad to finally have results...
