I had no side effects at all during my last pregancy while on the Dex.  In all honestly it was really not any different then my first Dex-free pregnancy.  I had no additional weight gain...no high pressure (my pressure remained at 110/70)...no headaches (which was hugh since I am prone to migranes)...no strech marks...no extra energy (I could still fall asleep just about anywhere esp. in that last semester!).

I think it really depends on who you ask.  You will find that there are some women who say they definatley had side effects, while others like myself had none.
