I also had really bad stretch marks.  I was surprised how bad they were considering that I only gained 35 lbs and my daughter was only 5lbs 10 oz’s and 17.5" long.  But my stretch marks were so big and fat that I couldn’t believe that my belly didn’t just turn into one big stretch mark. 

I also experienced high blood pressure too.  In fact, I still to this day battle with high blood pressure and fast heart beat, even though I am currently back on prednisone.  And so I have not been able to work out the way that I want to.  I didn’t experience that much other than a few side effects, but I didnt want to take dexamethasone and I still to this day do not if I get pregnant again.

Some other side effects that I had were that I got really bad acne all over my body and face, I also started to get the whole moon face, big arms, legs, and breasts.  I know that this is from the dexa because I have never had that problem with any other medication.  Not only that, my face is gone down pretty quickly and my acne is finally starting to go away to the point that I have just a few on my forehead.  But the body acne went away almost immediately. 

Hmmm well, I have had a bad time with dexamethasone, but if anyone wants to take it, I hope that you do not experience the same types of side effects that I did.  Sounds to me that it does effect people differently.  I just know that even though I got the moon face, acne, and everything else, my daughter still was diagnosed with CAH.  Kind of sucks if you ask me..
