How could any kid resist a 5 foot snow drift?! I just got back in for the 25 minutes we were outside. It is still blowing pretty bad and they say we are at the tail end of the storm! We took the yard stick out and measured the drifts we could get to. Some you just can’t walk in. I am sitting here now drinking my hot chocolate watching my husband plow the drive with our lawn mower that has a scoop on the front. He has to shovel some, then plow because the drifts are so enormous. I was helping for about 10 minutes. Maybe if I got a box of chocolates for Valentines day I could have stretched that time out a bit more. (he he he) I am evil. We plan to go back out when we warm back up. (and the driveway is done) (he he he). If you still can’t get them out to play, tell them they need to practice their flash cards. That has been working quite well for me. I say, "I KNOW WHAT WE CAN DO! Play with your flash cards!!!" And she says, "Ok, I ain’t that bored mom." Thats what I thought. Have fun! Pray for those snowplows to do their magic!!!!
