My son was on dexamethasone pill, that I administered at night. His dose was too high, and because I gave it at night, it increased it’s potency by, something like, 400X. He gained 35 pounds in third grade. Today he is in 5th grade and weighs 154lbs. It is nuts. But his medicine has been adjusted to dexamethasone elixir, for more accurate dosing. He is not nearly as hungry. His weight has leveled off. I think your kid is oversupressed. Talk to your endo, and another endo with daily CAH experience, about options. Then talk to CARES.
