re: Overweight child--not Oversuppressed

I just don’t buy into it, that your kid would be overweigh regardless. I have 3 children. 2 with NC CAH.  My oldest son and my daughter were both oversupressed. My son is the one who gained 35 pounds in thrid grade. My daughter just looked bloated. There are so many factors. Sterioids create hunger, the kids get used to eating more. BUT, I never knew that the time that you give the meds affects how the body uses those meds. I never knew that an elixir is much more exact than pill-form (for dexamethasone). And I don’t buy your daughters weight being a result of bad nutrition from the parents (after all you feed her). I was told my son’s weight was my fault. Then how come my other two kids were normal weight? The meds affects everyone differently. Keep trying different options and doctors. Good luck.
