Does anyone know if, after a year of low dose treatment (2 mgs prednisone), an adrenal ultrasound would show enlarged adrenal glands in someone with LOCAH? Would the year’s treatment cause the adrenals to shrink back to normal size or do they stay enlarged? I’m wondering whether to ask for an adrenal ultrasound for my daughter who hasn’t officially been diagnosed, but has been receiving treatment. Thanks.
