I’m still pretty new to the CAH thing and still have a lot of questions. I was diagonsed with Congential Adrenal Deficiency, assuming it’s the same thing as CAH at 21, I’m now 22 so that would mean i have the Late onset. I have not been treated as of yet or have been confirmed by specailist if I in fact do have the disease money and insurance has set me back on this and i;mnot sure now if ill ever get another appointment especially now that my doctor has moved to another city. But I can almost be certain I might this condition. My original doctor told me that i had clitoromegaly and then advised me to do blood testing so I did that and was tested for 17 hydroxylase deficiency I don’t believe i was tested for the 21 "". Is there a difference in the two deficiencies? Where I live not much is known about this disese, so i have a lot of questions, hopefully i can get some answers. Well first I was wondering if anyone else has any experienc with clitoromegaly and could give some advice. By the way I googled clitoromegaly and found a lot of information but I would like to hear personal experiences. Second ive been reading about intersex, does this mean that people with CAh are considered male or something? Ive read where some place ppl say no but others say otherwise.
