I’ve consulted with two different endos about using growth hormones on my boys (both LOCAH) and they both discouraged me from using them. They both said that cost was the biggest issue since insurance usually won’t pay for growth hormones. Also, even though they both knew about the study that was done, they didn’t seem to think that growth hormones would make that big of a difference. I am still open to doing whatever I can to help my boys grow. It sounds like some of you have endos that believe in using growth hormones. Do you know if your insurance will cover the cost?
