I live in san jose, california and our endo here was not real positive about the growth hormone thing, so we went down to los angeles (a 6 hour drive) to see Dr. Geffner who is on the medical advisory board for CARES. I thought he would be more receptive towards the idea of using growth hormones, but he wasn’t. Does anyone out there have an endo in california that has recommended growth hormones? Also, both my boys would need the growth hormones, so there would be no way that we could afford them without insurance paying for it. Have any of you been able to get your insurance to pay?
