To Kat re: Sinus infections....

Ok so I think I jinx myself by telling you that since my daughter had her adenoids out, she stopped getting sinus infections! I know last we talked on here your daughter was getting a CT scan of her sinuses. I think we are heading in that direction Monday. My daughter has had a swollen sinuses for three weeks now! We have had two different antibiotics and she STILL is not sleeping at night. I am tired, she is tired, we are all tired. The poor kid can’t sleep, some kid in her class told her to chew with her mouth closed and embarrassed her but she can’t help it, she has no way to breathe with her mouth closed now. Tomorrow we see her allergist/asthma clinic doctor. I am hoping they have a different angle on this then her ped. has. I can’t give her antihistimines because when I do, it burns when she pees. Don’t ask me why, I have no idea. Not sure if it is the red dye that does this or what. Every time we give her Benedryl, she wakes up the next morning in pain with her pee pee. Or as we call it, her peeps. It goes away after drinking a lot of water but still. Geesh, poor kid. So we are pretty stuck for right now. Let me know what the solution for your daughter was. I hope she is feeling better now!
