KScott,
I personally want to thank you for all of your wonderful BTDT experience that you have shared with us. I for one never felt that CAH was going to hold back my sons from doing anything...your story confirms just that :o)
I would like to also add that I for one do not think that you are taking your CAH too lightly. It sounds as if you had wonderful parents who taught you the importance of taking your meds and the potential seriousness of CAH. But, in the same token they also let you be who you are. They didn’t hold you back or treat you any different. CAH is a part of you, but it will not control nor define who you are. I have always strongly believed this and am instilling this belief within my sons.
Once again thank you for your kindness in reaching out to us, especially parents of little ones. It means quite a lot to me. Hopefully one day my sons will be able to do the same :o)
