Actually, I called CARES yesterday and spoke to Kelly Leight about this question. She just said that they can’t get an accurate reading while my daughter is on prednisone, that she would need to be off it for a month or more, and that the endo should have known that.

I did think that what I had read (and I thought it was on this board, but couldn’t find it) was that you can get accurate readings while on hydro but not on pred or dex. Maybe this is addressed in Carol’s book--anyone have a copy?
