My 4yr. old daughter with swcah had a increase in her cortef dosage recently after her appt. @ the end of Jan. Her doctor said her blood work came back great but he wanted to increase her cortef anyway because she had grown 2 inches or so in 4 months and he was doing this to help prevent problems in the future. I understand his reason but I have started noticing that she looks like she as put on weight and is filling out just since late  Jan. when the meds were changed. Her cortef was only increased by half a pill. Could she be oversuppressed? Also since her blood work was fine and we changed the dose anyway could this be the cause, is growing 2 inches in 4 months too much or unlikely? We have very tall females in our family, maybe it is just hereditary. I am going to call the doctor but wanted to get any input anyone could offer. Thank you.
