It is possible that you have something else going on besides CAH, from what I have read here , Poly cystic Ovary seems prevalent in connection with CAH or maybe you just have other hormones that are out of balance, I think finding another Endo was a wise idea. No you can not stop taking your meds! My husband was not diagnosed till he was 30 and even though you lived all that time with no cortisol now your body is used to it and will react violently. The first time Mike got the flu after starting his meds he went into crisis because all the vomiting and diarrhea took all the medicine out of his system. He passed out and broke his nose!
