Excuse my denseness, but isn’t your baby already born? I’m under the impression that it’s something that’s easily seen if baby does indeed have it... it’s not something they "develop" later on. There are different degrees of it, too (one type does not involve the lip at all, and isn’t visible externally), and a good percentage can be fixed quite easily after birth.
We had many ultrasounds while pregnant with my SW daughter ... they told me they thought she had (among other things) a cleft palate too ..... she doesn’t, and is perfectly healthy, except for the CAH. I will keep your daughter and you in my prayers,
