Alternative Medicine and Endo in Atlanta?
Mar. 9th, 2007   12:51pm

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good Endo in the Atlanta area?  I had a great one years ago and she turned her practice over to another doctor. I saw him for a few years but he was awful. He basically told me to forget about having kids and that I was "just going to be fat and get used to it". I left his office and never went back.

I had taken dex or pred. for 16 years and recently went through a lenghty process with a nutrionist and naturopath to get me off the meds. I have done well with natural supplements up till now and had been enjoying feeling better than I have in a long time. But some things are changing now and I want to meet with a good endo.

Now my husband and I are wanting to try to have a baby and I am trying to find an endo that has an open mind, that will be willing to work with me and look at some alternative treatments while we are trying.

I would love to hear some dr sugestions as well as some stories from women that have mixed tradtional and alternative medicine in tyring to conceive.
