Clefts can sometimes be tricky to diagnose via ultrasound. We didn’t even know that our daughter had a cleft palate until she was born! Between that and the CAH, things were a bit overwhelming for a while. I did not, however, take dex while I was pregnant- just the luck of the draw.

Hopefully everything will turn out fine on the next ultrasound. However, another parent on this board recommended this website for more info on clefts- I also found it to be a pretty useful source.
