We got test results back recently for our 4month old and wanted to hear any comments. She had her blood drawn at 9:15am before morning meds (last medications of 2.5mg cortef and .1mg flourinef were given at 11:00pm). Her results were : 17OHP was 81; Androstenedione was <15. The doctor’s office said these results were "normal"...is this all they usually test for at this age? Also, we’re not scheduled to see our endo for another six months - is this normal? They didn’t test her blood pressure, and after reading the post by the woman from Alaska, this worries me a bit because she takes .15mg flourinef + sodium daily and they aren’t really even sure if she’s a salt waster. She wasn’t very virilized at birth (outside) but does have a urogenital sinus - does the degree of virilization determine somewhat how severe the CAH is? So much to learn.....!Hanni
