Hi! I am new to this board. I have several questions. My son, 6 years old was diagnosed with GHD and CAH last summer. We never had genetic testing to confirm that his adrenal insufficiency was in fact congenital.  Has anyone had genetic testing done? Also, we only have a crisis kit at home, should he have one at school? He is in first grade and should I carry one around. The endo acted like just one at home would be ok.

Also, He has been on growth hormone for 10 months at 1.0 dose and has only grown 1 inch. We are not happy with results so far. Isn’t the first year supposed to be catch up? He is almost 7 (May 1st) and weighs 39 lbs and is 41 inches.
