Or you can also check with your local County board of health. Here in Ohio there used to be this spectacular program called BCMH-Bureau for Medically Handicapped Children. Meaning any child that relies on meds. or has a disease can get financial assistance. I know when my daughter was first born this county assistance was a dream. They took care of the 20 percent our insurance did not pay. Since then the government has made HUGE cuts in who and who does not qualify and we were cut. But we were blessed with the program for many years. So look into your County for any kind of medical assistance. Definately take Cherry’s advice and look into talking to the billing department. They want to get paid too, so perhaps they know of some programs to direct you to, also.
