GHD is growth hormone deficiency. His pituitary gland does not secrete enough growth hormone to promote normal growth. I guess this isn’t the right place to ask questions about this deficiency. He takes nightly injections for this hormone replacement.

Landon was diagnosed last August and we were only told that he had adrenal insufficiency/CAH. They just immediately started him on cortef and gave us a crisis kit. From talking to Erin at Caresfoundation it sounds like he has nonclassical CAH.

Erin at the cares foundation also told me about a history study that is being done in Maryland. We could go and get genetic testing and some other tests for free because it is a study. She said it was wonderful . We will check it out.

Thanks for responding.
