After my gall bladder surgery last September we we left with, even after insurance, about $2000 to pay. After calling the various doctors we were able to work it into payments around $200 a month. All of them seemed very reasonable about payments, and not one even asked for any kind of interest. That may still leave with with more you can handle, but it would at least be a good start, and make the problem seem less daunting.
