re: ADD or ADHD?

I had to fill out a questionnaire for my daughter and had to get a teacher to fill out one. Well I made copies and had all 7 teachers fill out one. Very few of the questions fit my daughter. But many fit my son for me....but not for any teachers at school. He is on the A-B honor roll and the teachers think he is an ANGEL....all the girls love him because he seems so mature, haha. If the only saw him at home sometimes. He has improved a lot in the last 6 months. I took him to counseling....even though I really think that was a joke. We did find out however that the fact that my hubby works so much and doesn’t spend much time with him effects him a lot. Also the power struggle we have with my hubby giving in to his every whimper to my strict structure.

All of this still does not take away from the fact that my daughter has a hard time focusing. She is well mannered but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have trouble focusing. I almost had her treated but decided not to.

Doctors are wined and dined by the pharmaceutical companies to push their drugs, some are very quick to write out scripts for unnecessary drugs.

True ADHD involves the HPA axis,  (Hypothalmic-Pituitary-ADRENAL) axis. Hint hint.
