re: Low Temperature Upon Waking up?

What method are you using to measure her temperature? That has a lot to do with the accuracy. If we use an ear thermometer, it can show a temp. difference from an oral thermometer.

We have had times when my daughter’s temp. has gone pretty low after an evening of fighting off a high fever. But we attributed it to keeping just a light t-shirt on her, and giving her the Motrin to bring down them temp. I have seen it at 96/97 once which was unnerving for us too. I always think the Motrin has something to do with it. I don’t know. Normally, my child runs hot at night. She is 9 now and never has slept in those feet jammies. We have always kept it cool in her room at night or she sweats too much. Maybe take your child’s temp. on a normal day.
