Hi Jerry,

When my daughter was an infant and toddler I took her temperature daily. I was new to the CAH thing, and thought if she were to ever get a fever, I would be able to catch it before it sent her into a crisis. Anyway, through doing this, I found her normal temperature to be between 96-97 degrees. I wasn’t alarmed, because my husband’s body temperature has always been below the normal as well. When I asked her endo at the time, he also acted as if it were no big deal. It has been useful in understanding, though, that 99 degrees is actually a fever for her.

I understand your concern with the temperature being SO LOW, and how her body is or isn’t reacting to it. I have never heard of a connection between CAH or the meds causing this to occur. I hope you find your answers, and please, keep me posted.

God Bless,

Katrina
