I do not believe there is more evil in the world.  We live in a very safe and productive time.  Look back at history and you will see real evil and distress.  I think people think there is more evil now...I do not.   I let my kids do everything.  Go to camp, with me or a nurse...I let them walk home from shcool, across a busy street...etc....they play sports etc....

I do not downplay their medical condition they are aware of the seriousness of the condition and the necessity of taking good care of themselves-  they are 8 and 11.  Otherwise we have just a regular life.

I do realize some kids do better than others...but you have to what you have and then make the best of it!  My neice was just diagnosed with type1 diabetes-  yikes that is way worse!

I do feel this boad is great and all the new people need a chance to be scared and learn from others mistakes,  I have made a couple.  Also I beieve thanks to CARES all CAH people will and are getting better care.  Information is power,  I did not have the internet when my kids were just born and I did not have access to any informtion and we had a really bad (malpractice bad) endo.  I just had a gut feeling things were not right and swithced Drs.,  very limited choices in a small state.
