Actually, Jill, I’ve heard other comments about the tendency for people with CAH and their parents to go overboard in the complaint department. My mom had diabetes, and I know that living with it is a lot worse than living with CAH. I’m incuding myself in this, because I know I do too.

The quandry is where to draw the line between reasonable concern and as Wan phrased it, obsession. I does seem Wan hasn’t dealt with the severity many others have been forced to endure, but at the same time, it’s human nature to take the easy road, and blaming CAH for things before really studying the problem would be a natural result of that.

Perhaps rather than simply outright rejecting Wan’s comments, we should step back and see if maybe we do tend to go overboard on occasion.
