Family loss of Shelton Uptmore
Mar. 26th, 2007   10:09am

I am sure that Tracy, Sonny and Shelton’s four brothers will appreciate your messages of sympathy.   Shelton was a special child who almost did not survive when he was born, because his disease was not diagnosed at first.  We prayed and hoped that he would live, and live he did!  He was compassionate and fun-loving.  He did not like to see anyone sad or suffering and would try to make people smile.  Shelton’s love for life was infectious.  He was compassionate and giving.  He raised money for the less fortunate and was a counselor at a muscular distrophy camp, where he personally attended to the every need of his camper.  Many people were unaware Shelton suffered from CAH, as he did not let his disease hinder his ability to live a full life.  We thank God for the gift of Shelton.  "Random Acts of  Kindness" were part of his daily life.  He would encourage each and every one of you to practice random acts of kindness in your life, as well.   God bless all of you who are or know someone suffering from CAH.  Hopefully, the donations sent in memory of Shelton will help in your lives.
