CrystalHi my name is crystal and I have posted on the messege boards for the past few years looking for information on male infertility.
I’ll tell you alittle about our story. my husband Brad is 32 years old and has had SWCAH since birth, he has an older brother who has the condition also. Brad has not been on his meds regulary since he was about 16 years old, because of all the side effects that he deals with while taking them. Brad and I have been trying to concieve for the last 5 years or so. About 3 years ago we went to see his endo and we were told to go back on the florinef and dexemethazone( im not sure of the dose). Anyway we were told that if Brad’s sperm count would increase we would see it in about 6 months ( at this point his count was 0!!!). We did this and didn’t see a change, Brad got frustrsted and again went off meds. We were refferd to an fertility Dr. who never really talked about Brads condition or told us if CAH was related to the sperm count, he pretty much told us to use a sperm donor. We have since adopted a baby girl 11 months ago and she will be 1 next month.
But we still have faith that eventually we will concieve naturally. Reading your earlier post you mentioned that it took you 9 years to have children. I was just wondering if you would mind telling me alittle about your story!!
Thanx Crystal
