bonnieHe is actually only a carrier but he was in the borderline range between LOCAH and carrier in his labs. The reason we started treating him was because his bone age was advancing and he had some early signs of puberty when he was 7. I’m just afraid that his bones will actually fuse when he’s in the middle of his pubertal growth spurt and he’ll only get to grow another 3 or 4 inches.
I’m paranoid about this because my daughter had early puberty and her bone age was fine and she had a height prediction of 5’5" and she suddenly stopped growing during puberty and ended up 5’2". Her bone age went from 11 to 14 almost in a blink of an eye. And I don’t know why his bone age suddenly started advancing when he didn’t even grow. I don’t know if I should increase his dosage. He’s very slim which makes it seem like he’s not oversupressed.
