Hi Jennifer! My nine year old SWCAH daughter has always been on cortef and florinef. I wouldn’t be alarmed, though, by the use of pred. As Aimee pointed out, there are children who do take pred opposed to cortef, but much of it is simply the comfort level and preference of the endo. They are all considered safe for children to take as long as they are dosed properly.
