Does being sick when drawing blood have a huge effect in the results?

My daughter went for her bloodwork a couple of weeks ago. When we came home she said she was SO tired. Later that evening she got a sore throat and it turned into a slight cold. No fever came with it. We got her bloodwork back and her OHP levels were sky high. Along with all the other levels. Now we did switch before school started in the fall to cutting he Florinef in half. So she only got one half daily. We did this because her renin was at a level that showed she was getting too much. I am wondering if the OHP is caused by the Florinef cut, or because she was getting sick that day she had her blood drawn. Or it is just plain time to change her dosage since she is prepuberty now that she is turning 10 and showing some early signs of puberty. Any input from anyone would help. We have an appointment with her endo. next week but wanted to see what everyone else experienced so I can take that with me and share it with her endo.

Also I do know it is a known fact that when drawing blood and the child is stressed out in hysterics, that the OHP will not show an accurate number because of the physical stress put on the childs system.  So I wondered if it had the same outcome if the child’s body was stressed because of an illness coming on. Also I do know that you have to wait one month after stress dosing for an illness before getting bloodwork done. And that we made sure of. Thanks everyone!
