re: How did that happen?

I know I have struggled with my BMI cause I have been on dexamethasone and it always makes me eat more than I normally do.  I even tried to work out during my experience on it, but I still managed to gain 60 lbs.  I have found that prednisone doesn’t do as much harm, so I have actually been able to lose weight.  Right now I am trying down to get to my pre-pregnancy weight and have lost probably close to 20-25lbs.  Last I knew I lost about 20lbs, but I haven’t weighed myself in a long time.  Now, I am eating a vegetarian diet, doing pilates, and lugging around my 5 month old.  So I am definitely getting my exercise.

Good luck to all who are battling with their weight.  I can completely understand the dilemma.  It’s very hard when your medication gives you the side effects of over eating and weight gain.

I hope that everyone can figure out how to deal with this disease and manage a very hard thing to manage.
