re: difficulty in giving the drug to baby

I have a five month old SWCAH girl, and what I do is this (when the baby is hungry) : in a 2oz bottle, I put a tiny bit of lukewarm water (just enough to cover the bottom). I then crush the pills in a pill crusher and put the powder in the water (make sure to get all of the powder off of the crusher...I use my finger) and shake it a little bit. It won’t dissolve, but I just make sure it’s suspended in the water. Then, I add 1/2-3/4oz of breastmilk to this. My daughter sucks it right down. After she’s done, I add more breastmilk (sometimes I do this twice) to the bottle to wash down anything that was stuck to the side. This has worked really well for us! (if you try this, you’ll want to make sure that the nipple hole is a little larger than a normal hole for a two month old or else some of the particles may get stuck in the nipple hole)
