GMOya,
For our daughter, I dissolved the pills in a little medicine dispenser with a small amount of liquid. It had a nipple on it and she would suck it right down. My son didn’t care for this dispenser, so I put his meds on one of those baby spoons with the rubber coating, I used a medicine dropper and dropped a few drops of liquid on the spoon to make the pill swell and soften, then give it to him that way. When he was younger, he would make a face as if it were bitter so I would drop a little bit of apple sauce on the softened pill that is on the spoon, and then feed it to him. That worked well. It will get easier!!! Just remember....don’t mix the meds in a bottle full of liquid because you won’t know it the baby gets the meds or not. Just use a very small amount of liquid so you can be sure ALL of the meds are gone. I would be glad to mail you one of the medicine dispensers that I was referring to. They are very easy to find here and very inexpensive. Just e-mail me if you would like for me to mail you one!!! It was a life saver for us!! My e-mail is cgmurray@bellsouth.net.
