Ok..My 4 yr old daughter (SWCAH) has had a bladder infection for a month now. We are starting our 4th round of antibiotics. I am at a loss at what to do. She started experiencing tummy pain last week and I am not sure if it is related to the bladder infection or not. The Dr. says it is probably just a virus....My concern is that something else may be wrong. She has high fevers everday. She spent a night in the ER last week and her temp was 105 then. It has been at least 103-104 everyday since. It does come down with Motrin, but it makes it’s way right back up. We have an appointment with urology in about 2 weeks to run some tests to see if maybe she has some urinary retention or backflow causeing the infection, but that doesn’t help her right now. I am pushing fluids as much as possible, but she isn’t very willing to take them, so it is a challenge. Also her appetite is almost nonexistent. She feels so bad that all she wants to do is sleep or lay around all day. I’m frustrated and confused...Any ideas?
