Thanks so much for your reply. I feel better know that atleast he is not taking medication for nothing. I talked to Erin at CARES also and she was great.

My question is IF he were a more severe form of CAH- how could it have taken so long to show up. Granted he has many problems (growth hormone deficiency, severe allergies, severe reflux- had surgery to help that when he was 5), asthma)so I don’t know if everything has just been masked. I don’t think he has SWCAH because the doctor did not put him on Florinef- wouldn’t he be taking that also if he had SWCAH.

I don’t really understand SVCAH- could you explain that to me. Would he just be taking Cortef with SVCAH?
