I find it offensive because its what the (IRA) called us during the troubles in N.ireland....   F*()ing Brits, when they were planting bombs all over England. I’ve never known anyone to use it in a nice way....  To me it’s like calling some1 a Paki, which isn’t acceptable to me or anyone else in  the UK..  I have no probs with expressions Limeys or Poms.
